Frequently asked questions…

01. What can I expect?

I will email you a copy of the client specific consultation form at the time you book your treatment (if applicable). Please return this form at least 24 hrs prior to your booked appointment. For at home massage treatments a space the size of standard double is required for set-up. If you have booked an individual treatment I will arrive at the address you provide at the time of booking at the appointment time. I bring everything needed for the treatment. It takes no more than 10 minutes to setup the couch for treatment. I will go over your consultation form with you and agree on the optimum treatment for you. Treatment will then commence. Once complete I will give you a few minutes to ground & come to before packing up & leaving you to relax & enjoy the benefits of your treatment in your own space.

02. What treatment should I choose?

Choose whichever treatment most appeals to you and fits with your desired outcome. Please do contact me to discuss the options available to you if you aren’t sure. I’m always happy to help & advise clients.

03.Why do we need to discuss my medical history?

It is important for your safety & wellbeing that I am aware of any medical conditions you have. The detailed consultation is a requirement of my practice insurance and helps me design a treatment that is fully holistic & specific to you. This ensures that you are getting the most appropriate treatment & may reap the benefits of your chosen therapy.

04. How do I pay for my treatment?

Part payment is taken at the time of making your booking as you will be required to pay a deposit of 50% of the treatment cost. Should you wish to pay in full you can. Alternatively you may pay the balance on completion of treatment either in cash, by bank transfer or with a gift voucher. Payment can be made with credit or debit card. Gift vouchers are available for purchase through the website.

05. What is the Meliorate cancellation policy?

I understand that life sometimes gets in the way of plans… I politely request that you try to give me as much notice as possible of any changes. Appointments may be rescheduled up to 24 hours prior to your booked appointment time without incurring a fee. Appointments may be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to your booked appointment time without incurring a fee. Appointments cancelled up to 24 hours prior to your booked appointment time will incur 50% of the booked treatment cost. Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours prior to your booked appointment time will incur the full cost of the booked treatment.
